Pretty much nothin’. It was a horrible day at the auction…. pieces were going for high prices, and I just wasn’t willing to pay that much. I didn’t come home totally empty handed though. I got one thing. A metal garden bunny for Easter. Really. Here he is! I think he is adorable, but Chris is not a fan. Oh well… he’ll only stay for a few more days. Then he has some eggs to go hide.
On my way home I stopped at the Salvation Army and picked up a dresser. Then I headed to Goodwill and picked up a nightstand and a couple mirrors, so the day was not a total bust! And I had a blast! I was in good company, with my friend, Emily, (whose link you can visit, but she hasn’t written anything new since march, ahem.)
The kids are home on Spring break this week, but yesterday I made a little time to be crafty after we went to the home of Andi, aka Jane of All Crafts. Andi and I were working on a project while our kids all played beautifully together. I would show you our project, but it was a major fail. So we’ll be sharing it when we are good and ready. 🙂 That afternoon I cut some triangles with my ziggy-zaggy scissors out of a vintage shower curtain I found for a dollar at Goodwill. I sewed them onto yellow grosgrain ribbon, and voila! I will be making some more to bring with me to Lucketts. It’s so Springy and fun!
